I think the best option is to drink plenty of fluids such as water, juices and soup. And also boost your immune system with fruits and vegetables. Stay in somewhere warm can also help. Normally colds just get better with resting a few days, but if it does not I recommend you visit a doctor. Recover soon Ellz! Cheers!
Definitely use Laura’s advice below, plus sleep. When your body is battling anything, sleep is crucial as it is down time for your body to concentrate in healing and fighting infection.
