      Hi Alejandra,
Plasma which forms a large portion of our blood contains lots of goodies. It contains lots of albumin (the chief protein constituent in our blood), fibrinogen (responsible, in part, for the clotting of blood) and globulins (including antibodies that are cargo around our circulatory system read to protect us from diseases). Plasma serves a variety of functions, from maintaining a healthy blood pressure and volume to supplying critical proteins for blood clotting (to keep us from bleeding to death from even slight injuries) and immunity (with the circulating antibodies). Cheers,
      Carmen
