• Question: Which has been your favourite experiment you have ever done?

      Mine was probably my first ever biology experiment where I had to use chemicals to stain the cells different colours and then put them into a machine that uses lasers to separate the different colours. Very interesting stuff! 🙂 I did once read a paper about someone who did an experiment that involved watching puppies yawn though and that would obviously be much better!!

      I think my favourite experiment was the first time I grew bacteria in a petri dish. It was just really interesting to see something growing there when you can not see it from the beginning. Cheers Marc! 🙂

      Hi Mark! I see on your profile you are an aspiring architect, noble profession! My favorite experiment was when I used synthetic biology to “build” something in E.coli to force E.coli to produce something it normally wouldn’t, thus eliminating my Need to work with the dangerous pathogen whose DNA I had used for the synthetic biology Design. It was a total “oh my. Gosh. It actually worked” moment for me and felt so awesome. Maybe like the feeling you might have someday when you visit a building you Designed!
