Boosting endorphins can be done naturally and healthily via exercising. Some smells and foods can boost endorphins as well. Some drugs will either dull or interact with our endorphin receptors, which can be good in the short-term but really bad in the long-term as the sensation becomes heavily addictive and our neurotransmitter system essential for release of endorphins gets confused or mixed up.
