• Question: Have you ever come across any bacteria which has lost control

      Hi Phantom,
      Not entirely sure what you mean by that question, but I will have a try. I study bacteria in a safe and controlled environment, so there isn’t ‘losing control’ of the bacteria. Bacteria can swim, swarm, form carpets of biofilm, and even motor from one cell to the next quickly using proteins it has borrowed from its host (us!). Let me know if you have any more questions. Overall, I think bacteria are designed very well to ‘be in control’ and do what they need to do to survive and thrive.
