• Question: Have you ever worked on Ebola or any other nasty diseases

      Hi there!

      No, actually I have never working with Ebola. I study bacteria, and Ebola is a virus. However, when I was an undergraduate I did work with a virus very closely related to smallpox, which was pretty cool. Even if it isn’t Ebola I am working with, we are trained to take really good care to handle them safely.
