      Hi Maria,

      I like how phagocytic cells gobble up pathogens and clear them from the body.

      My favourite bit of the immune system are proteins called chemokines. These are made by tissues during inflammation or infection and act like flags to tell the immune systems cells to come to the site where the inflammation is and stop the cause of it eg. killing the bacteria that have infected the tissue
