• Question: What happens in the body when germs reproduce?

      Well done germs can make poisons which harm us. Some are clever at not being speed by the immune system. But the more there of them the harder it is for them to escape the immune system.

      I’m so happy to see on your profile you are interested in becoming a scientist someday!

      When germs or disease causing organisms reproduce, they can make us sick. Some microorganisms can make us sick really quickly, if they grow at a fast rate and our bodies can’t keep their growth in check. Other bacteria grow slowly. But if we get antibiotics they can kill or slow the growth of the organism to the point where hopefully our immune systems can control the ‘germ’ and we can get healthy again.
