• Question: What happens when our body can't kill a virus?

      We would get sick from not being able to kill it but with a lot of viruses there are drugs we can take that will kill the virus for us

      Hello! Steph is correct we would certainly get sick, but sometimes even if we get sick the body can come back and fight off the virus of our overall health is strong enough to do that. With a horrid virus like HIV, which knocks down our bodies immune system function (HIV literally stands for human immunodeficiency virus) then we have to provide antiviral therapy to patients to slow virus reproduction and let the body catch up to try to health itself,
