If you counted up the cells that are you by number then 95% of the cells in and on you are bacteria. By size most of your cells are human though!

Anyway the bacteria that normally live on us and in us protect us from dangerous bacteria and do things like help us digest food.

Hello! Friendly bacteria is bacteria that lives in us without causing any disease and in fact, can protect us against other “unfriendly bacteria”. All the surfaces of our body such as skin and mucosas are covered in bacteria and their presence prevent the entrance of pathogenic ones. Cheers and thank you for the question!
