Carmen Denman answered on 16 Mar 2015:
Hi there,
I am not an expert here on this topic, but an aneurysm that hasn’t ruptured is basically a ticking time bomb. There are actually a few treatments for the aneurysm, but I’m not sure what the fatality rate is if the aneurysm isn’t linked to cancer.
Here is a bit of information from one of the leading medical schools in the USA: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/neurology_neurosurgery/centers_clinics/aneurysm/types/unruptured_brain_aneurysm.html
Cheers,
Carmen
